Privacy Policy for DWG to PDF Converter Pro

CAD Pro Tools respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the DWG to PDF Converter Pro Mac application (“the App”) handles information when you view or convert CAD files (such as DWG, DXF, or DWF) to PDF, and when you purchase or restore in-app unlocks.

Local File Processing

CAD viewing and PDF conversion run on your Mac. Your drawings are processed locally.

• File Access: The App only accesses local CAD files and font/resource files that you explicitly choose to open or save.
• Data Processing: Conversion occurs in your device’s memory. Output PDF files are saved only to the location you choose.
• Drawings Are Not Uploaded: Your original drawings and conversion results are never sent to our servers or to any third party.

Purchase & License Information We Collect

When you purchase or restore an in-app unlock through the Mac App Store, the App may send limited purchase-related information to our servers (hosted for CAD Pro Tools) so we can record the transaction and maintain the product. We collect:

• In-app product ID (and related product name / unlock type, such as Basic or Advance)
• Purchase or restore time
• Device model (for example, Apple hardware model identifier such as Mac17,9)
• macOS version
• App Store storefront / country or region
• Displayed purchase amount and currency (as shown by the App Store; we do not receive your payment card details)
• App name and Bundle ID
• App Store receipt (used to help verify a prior purchase / license status)

We do not collect your hardware serial number, Apple ID password, payment card numbers, name, email address, or the contents of your CAD files for this purpose.

How We Use This Information

• License / entitlement checks: to understand which unlock was purchased (for example Basic vs Advance) and to support product features and customer support related to purchases.
• Product analytics: to understand purchase patterns by region and device model so we can improve the App and plan support.

Your unlock status is also stored locally on your Mac so purchased features continue to work even if our servers are temporarily unavailable. Unlock does not depend on a successful server upload.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade the information described above to third parties. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may use infrastructure providers solely to host and operate our servers. Payment processing for Mac App Store purchases is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy.

In-App Purchases

If you purchase an unlock through the Mac App Store, payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details or Apple ID credentials. We may receive the purchase metadata and App Store receipt described in this policy.

Your Rights

You can delete local App data (including local license files) from your Mac at any time. To request deletion of purchase records stored on our servers, contact us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Effective Date”.
